King Abdullah II Fund for Development Launches "Learning through Travel" Project

As part of its role in promoting the spirit of initiative among young entrepreneurs, and developing their leadership and creative skills, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) has launched a new cycle of the "Learning through Travel" project, which aims to network them with regional and international institutions.
The project aims to facilitate the participation of outstanding young people in extracurricular youth activities in various countries around the world and engage them in diverse experiences. Additionally, it provides opportunities for interaction and communication, acquiring new skills and experiences, harnessing the youth's potential to serve their local communities, and enabling them to benefit from quality opportunities.
Applicants meeting specific criteria will be fully or partially covered for travel expenses and visa costs based on the total points they earn, as decided by an evaluation committee upon a personal interview.
The project, which targets talented and creative youth aged 16 to 40, supports participation in cultural, art, and entrepreneurial activities, as well as events related to sectors such as information technology, environment, tourism, and human development. It also includes participation in international conferences and seminars, representing Jordan in Arab and international sports competitions.
Interested individuals can apply for support through the link (join.kafd.jo) throughout the current year of 2023.
It is worth noting that the "Learning through Travel" project, established in 2006, has thus far provided 2,147 opportunities, ranging from practical training activities in various fields to attending scientific and cultural conferences and participating in international and sports competitions.
