New JO SHOP branch opens in Aqaba

The Jordanian Company for Promoting Heritage Products (JO SHOP), a developmental project under the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, has recently opened the doors of its second branch in the city of Aqaba at the Marina Village in Ayla Oasis.

The opening ceremony that took place on April 25, 2023 was attended by businessman Mr. Sabih Al-Masri, along with Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Mr. Nayef Al-Fayez, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development Mr. Nasser Lozi, and the Director of the Fund, Mr. Mazen Tabbalat.

Established in 2012, JO SHOP introduces a unique Jordanian experience through a brand that reflects the diversity of the Kingdom, and the creativity of its people. Within you will find quality original products made by various local communities, giving Jordanians from different backgrounds an equal opportunity to sell the best of Jordan’s creations locally, regionally and internationally. Since its establishment, the shop has worked with more than 150 local suppliers and 450 local products.

Ayla Oasis, has reinvented sea side living in Aqaba. With all it has to offer from business to entertainment and recreation it has become a go to destination that attracts both locals and tourists from different parts of the world. Making it a prime location for JO SHOP’s second branch.

The opening of JO SHOP marks the beginning of a genuine partnership the Fund seeks with the private sector, represented by Ayla Oasis.
