The chairman of the legal committee in the "House of Representatives" meets the participants of Parliament Fellowship


A dialogue session entitled "The political system in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the involvement of young people in the decision-making process" was held in the presence of the chairman of the legal committee in the House of Representative Lawyer Abdulmon'em Al-Awdat and the participants of the project; within the activities of the parliament fellowship project, which is implemented by King Abdullah II Fund for Development.

Al-Awdat affirmed the importance of the active participation of youth in the political community.

Al-Awdat also referred to the importance of rebuilding a mutual trust to enhance the participation and involvement of young people in the political process in all its aspects, confirming the importance of woman's essential role in the process of development and modernization.

During the dialogue session, Al-Awdat and the participants had a discussion on the most prominent points and themes contained in the amendments made to the laws regulating the political process and the law of parties, and its role in forming the future of Jordan during the coming period.

It is worth to mention that the Fund launched the third cycle of the Parliament Fellowship Project this year, which aims to create youth leaderships capable of making change by increasing their awareness of various national issues and challenges and expanding the base of youth participation.
