King Abdullah II Fund for Development Launches New Cycle of "Applied Scientific Research" Project

King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) launches the third cycle of the Applied Scientific Research Project (ASRP) which targets exceptional and innovative researchers and entrepreneurs who have conducted applied scientific research or carved out certified outcomes in the field of applied sciences.
Building up to the success achieved by KAFD’s “Undergraduate Research and Innovation Support” project, which was launched in 2004, the project intends to broaden the scope of its beneficiaries by reaching out to a new pool of researchers.
Application is open for interested researchers until February 9th, 2022 through the referral link https://join.kafd.jo, which includes the set of terms and conditions.
The project supports researchers by providing them with the tools needed for conducting their research, and by facilitating networking opportunities with potential stakeholders.
The project aims at spurring scientific innovation, advancing the field of social technology, finding applicable solutions that address the problems and needs of local communities, as well as creating employment opportunities stemming from these funded researches. So far, the project has provided a total of fifteen direct and indirect opportunities.
