Jordan Kuwait Bank Renews Strategic Partnership with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development to Strengthen Jordan's Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in 2026–2027

Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) has signed a new cooperation agreement with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), renewing the strategic partnership between the two parties for the second consecutive year. The agreement reflects the Bank's continued commitment to supporting and advancing Jordan's national entrepreneurship ecosystem by further developing the REYADEH Program—the Fund's flagship platform through which it delivers integrated support to young Jordanians—into a comprehensive and scalable national model across all governorates during the 2026–2027 period.
The agreement was signed by Haitham Al-Bataineh, Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Kuwait Bank Group, and Dr. Samer Al-Mofleh, Director General of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, in the presence of representatives from both organizations.
The renewed partnership builds on the success of the REYADEH Program, which was launched in 2025 to help entrepreneurs transform innovative ideas into sustainable businesses by providing training, mentorship, and access to funding. The program's first cycle attracted strong interest from entrepreneurs across all governorates and resulted in the selection of a number of promising ventures to advance to implementation and growth stages.
The program focuses on fostering a culture of innovation and productivity among Jordanian youth, creating sustainable employment opportunities, and transforming entrepreneurial ideas into productive businesses that enhance the readiness of startups and small enterprises for growth and investment.
Through this two-year collaboration, Jordan Kuwait Bank will continue supporting the King Abdullah II Fund for Development in expanding the program into a comprehensive national ecosystem that accompanies entrepreneurs throughout every stage of their entrepreneurial journey—from idea generation, incubation, training, and mentorship, to financing, investment readiness, business expansion, and market access.
Commenting on the partnership, Haitham Al-Bataineh, Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Kuwait Bank Group, said that renewing the partnership reflects the Bank's vision of investing in sustainable economic development by building integrated ecosystems that empower entrepreneurs and enable them to transform their ideas into competitive and scalable businesses.
He added that the Bank views entrepreneurship as one of the key drivers of economic growth and job creation, noting that supporting entrepreneurs aligns with the Bank's strategy to advance sustainability and financial inclusion while contributing to the objectives of Jordan's Economic Modernization Vision. He emphasized that investing in entrepreneurship is a long-term investment in youth, innovation, and productivity.
For his part, Dr. Samer Al-Mofleh, Director General of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, said that the partnership reflects the importance of integrating the efforts of national stakeholders to build a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem that supports young people's innovative ideas in line with the objectives of the Economic Modernization Vision to stimulate growth, foster innovation, and create opportunities for youth.
He added that the Fund, as a national umbrella supporting development efforts across various sectors, is committed to building integrated support systems that accompany entrepreneurs throughout every stage of developing their businesses—from refining ideas and registering companies to launching operations, providing ongoing support, and facilitating access to capacity-building programs and financing. He stressed that strategic partnerships with national institutions represent a cornerstone for expanding the impact of development programs and strengthening their contribution to sustainable economic development.
This renewed collaboration underscores Jordan Kuwait Bank's commitment to reinforcing its role as an active national partner in supporting development initiatives and fostering an enabling environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, driven by its belief in empowering youth, promoting innovation, and building a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem.
