The Jordan Gaming Lab, one of the initiatives of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), has opened its eighth branch in Al-Tafila Governorate, with the aim of supporting and advancing the electronic gaming industry in the governorate in particular, and across the Kingdom in general.
This opening represents an effective model of partnership with local community institutions, as the new lab premises have been set up within Ard Al-Karam Foundation for Development and Training, a non-profit organization founded in 2022 with a focus on fostering cooperation and contributing to achieving sustainable development—especially in Al-Tafila Governorate.
The initiative enhances integration of development efforts, expands the base of beneficiaries, and contributes to empowering youth and developing their skills across various governorates.
The launch marks another step toward realizing the Economic Modernization Vision, which emphasizes the importance of supporting a knowledge-based economy and empowering young talents to build a future driven by creativity and innovation.
It is worth noting that the Jordan Gaming Lab is a Royal initiative launched in 2011 through the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, in partnership with Maysalward Company.
The lab operates in several governorates across the Kingdom, including Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, Aqaba, and Karak (at two sites), in addition to a Mobile Gaming Lab that enables wider outreach to youth in different areas.
