King Abdullah II Fund for Development sets up Jordan pavilion at Dubai "Game Expo" summit

The Jordan Gaming Lab, one of the projects of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), has organized a Jordanian pavilion at the Dubai "Game Expo" summit, in collaboration with the Lab's technical partner Maysalward, the two-day expo was launched in Dubai on June 21, 2023, as part of the Dubai Festival for Games and Digital ESports 2023.

Al-Hussein Technical University, as well as game-development companies "Babel" and "Mad Hook" with the support of the Jordan Gaming Lab, participated in the Jordanian pavilion.

The Lab also supported Kenda Art Firm’s participation in the event, which was funded by the Electronic Game Developers Support Program, as the event provided an opportunity for the firm to network with global companies.
The summit, supported by "Pocket Gamer Connects," brought together experts, thinkers, and sector leaders from around the world and the region to exchange experiences and explore opportunities for cooperation, partnerships, and investment in order to enhance the growth of the gaming and digital E-sports sector.
The summit attracted the participation of more than 700 prominent figures and featured a series of interactive activities and panel discussions, in which over 100 speakers and thinkers shed light on the latest trends in the
Industry in the Middle East, North Africa, and the rest of the world.
It is worth mentioning that the Jordan Gaming Lab, established in 2011, aims to support the electronic gaming industry in Jordan, raise awareness of its importance among the new generation, and foster networking between Jordanian youth interested in this field and global companies.
