King Abdullah II Fund for Development Launches the “Reform Dialogues” Project

King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) launches the "Reform Dialogues” project within the framework of a national joint venture and in alignment with the reform initiative led by His Majesty King Abdullah II.

The project, which comes as part of the KAFD’s 2022 programmes, aims at finding remarkable groups of young men and women from all governorates and advancing their active participation in political life.

Implemented in collaboration with Masarat Foundation for Development, the “Reform Dialogue” project provides youths with the opportunity to express their opinions and views as an instrument of democracy that utilizes change through the proper channels.

In addition, the project establishes an understanding of a cultivated and rational dialogue that reinvigorates and engages a new breed of young elites.

This is predicated on the power of dialogue in generating the widest possible participation of youths and involving them in the reform process.

The project is conducted within a series of eighteen workshops, one in every electoral district, with the participation of members from the Royal Committee, the House of Representatives, the government, as well as an exceptional group of youths, in order to inform them about the outcomes of the “Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System” and grant them the advantage of advocating their opinions on these outcomes, which are to be passed on as propositions to the House of Representatives.
