The Talent in Community Service launches its 8th Cycle in celebration of the centennial of the Jordanian state foundation


Coinciding with the Kingdom’s celebration of the Centennial of the state’s foundation, King Abdullah II Fund for Development launches the 8th Cycle of the “Talent in Community Service” project. Grants this year will be allocated for ideas and projects relevant to the topic of the centennial.

The project provides financial and technical support to individuals, youth groups, and civil society institutions aiming to support ideas, projects, and programs that allow youth to express themselves and their societies. It also raises cultural and technical awareness among them. In addition to diverse creative works from different arts and contribution to developing governorates in order to enable them to become incubators of culture and arts.

Any person who has a cultural or artistic talent with a motive to launch it as a creative work will be able to move forward with their ideas and celebrate the centennial of the Jordanian state’s foundation in their own special way until March 25th, through visiting the following link https://join.kafd.jo/

An impartial specialized arts committee including a number of experts will take the responsibility of evaluating and reviewing applications to verify their compliance with the advertised conditions.

It is worthy to mention that the Talent in Community Service project was launched in 2014, within the efforts of KAFD to support creative youth ideas and projects and provide incentives to creative youth in all the kingdom’s governorates. KAFD provides financial support which does not exceed 5,000 JOD to the creative individuals or youth groups and 5000- 20000 JOD to civil society institutions.

Since it was launched, the project provided support to 39 projects and provided 1690 direct and indirect opportunities.
