Since 2004, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development has been implementing a project to support research and innovation for university undergraduates with the goal of providing young people with tools for creativity and innovation.
The project supports undergraduates of Jordanian public and private universities to implement their projects/research in a manner that contributes to creating a productive and effective society in the scientific and educational aspects.
Objectives
- Providing financial and technical support for students to implement their graduation projects.
- Strengthening competitiveness amongst students at all universities to develop their scientific and practical skills.
- Supporting sustainable development in Jordan through improving the skills of human resources.
- Developing higher education to be based on innovative projects rather than indoctrination.
Undergraduates Research & Innovation Support project is based on two Axis:
- Projects / Free Researches also called Projects /Researches decided by professors in agreement with their students.
- Projects proposed by the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB)
