King Hussein Institute for Cancer and Biotechnology

KAFD has signed a memorandum of understanding in 2006 with the Natinoal Cancer Institute in the U.S. in order to establish the (King Hussein Institute for Cancer and Biotechnology) as part of the effort to make Jordan a regional medical center, with the latest technical advancements in the field. The center shall provide a state-of-the-art health care for cancer patients in the Jordan, raise awareness about symptoms and early check ups. In addition, the center will have a specialized biotechnology research center, and provide job opportunities for Jordanians in many fields.
