  • Jordan Heritage Revival Company
  • Based on the Royal vision of a self-sustaining historical re-enactment sector in Jordan, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) created the Jordan Heritage Revival Company in 2010. JHRC seeks to provide authentic, engaging, and entertaining experiences for both Jordanian and foreign visitors in order to reveal Jordanian history in a creative manner. JHRC also ensures that the projects will provide greater economic opportunities for the local communities and will focus on employing military retirees.

    JHRC currently manages two re-enactment shows and a guard exchange in Petra. Projects are under development in Shobak and Wadi Rum.

    A recent visit by His Majesty King Abdullah II to Petra allowed JHRC to highlight the project's benefits. For more information on how JHRC is working with local communities in Petra, please view the video below.

  • The Dead Sea Touristic and Real Estate Investment was established in 2003 for the purpose of enhancing Jordan's tourism potentials. The company operates King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center, which hosts major international, regional and local conferences and other events. Located among the magic and tranquility of the Dead Sea, a walking distance from a cluster of five- start hotels and spas, the center offers all services related to conferences and other types of meetings and gatherings. This unique architectural venue is a major contribution to the Dead Sea development.
